The camera moves to a closeup of car lights turning on, followed by a shot from behind the car as the engines fire up.<\/p>\n<p>From this behind-the-car view, it\u2019s quickly clear Shadow is in the driving seat. As the rear exhausts and wheels glow a ruddy orange, the car revs up, rapidly pulls away, and leaves smoke and fire tracks as it powers a short distance along city streets into a swirling portal. A title logo appears, and a \u201cComing soon\u201d screen replete with platform logos appears before a Sega closing screen.<\/p>\n<p>Although the trailer is a nice, short set piece, and more footage will undoubtedly emerge, that\u2019s it. As for the details about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds\u2019 tracks, cars, or characters, there\u2019s nothing here except the vehicle we see and Shadow driving. So there\u2019s plenty of specifics to be confirmed. Expect portals, though. Given the name and the apparent concept, we could see vehicles, tracks, and characters from across the Blue Blur\u2019s expansive 30-year history.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"latest_sonic_racing_crossworlds_news\">Latest Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds News<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-note\"  style=\"border-color:#e5e54c;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;\"><div class=\"su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"background-color:#FFFF66;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;border-radius:3px;-moz-border-radius:3px;-webkit-border-radius:3px;\"><strong>Freshly Announced at The Game Awards 2024<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is expected to arrive \u201csoon\u201d in 2025, suggesting a first half and possible Q1 or Q2 2025 release \u2014 although that is speculation.
