At WWDC, Apple finally showcased Apple Intelligence<\/a> which is the company\u2019s take on generative AI features that run on-device.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Apple further emphasized that its new AI assistant will take advantage of the A17 Pro and its M series of chips, to run on your devices, locally, without giving any of your data to Apple.<\/p>\n

The Cupertino company promised a host of new features, out of which some would be available at launch and others would be rolled out in due course. This was when Apple was expected to release its AI Intelligence as part of the public release of <\/span>its new software updates<\/span><\/a> in September. But now it seems that the launch of the AI assistant may get delayed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW: Apple Intelligence will arrive later than anticipated, coming in iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 in October and missing the initial September releases. Still, 18.1 will go into beta for developers this week. https:\/\/t.co\/LqXDvjO6ef<\/a><\/p>\n
