Donald Knuth is known for his work in deciphering the complexity of computer algorithms and creating mathematical techniques to manage them. As a computer scientist, Knuth has developed several innovations. He created the WEB and CWEB programming interfaces, and has received several awards and medals, including a Turing Award in 1974, Franklin Medal in 1986 and, most recently, the Stanford University School of Engineering Hero Award in 2012. <\/p>\n
