Samsung announced its first Galaxy Watch FE, launching on June 24, with prices close to initial rumors.?
Galaxy Watch FE Price
Leaks and rumors circulated earlier this month suggesting that the Galaxy Watch FE would start at $199. Those weren’t far off, with the new model retailing for $200.
Junho Park, VP and head of the Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team, said the new Watch FE would allow more people to access personalized health insights for daily wellness.
At this price point, the Galaxy Watch FE is set to be a low-cost option for anyone who doesn’t want to part with $300 or more for a Galaxy Watch 7.

Galaxy Watch FE Specs
The 40mm smartwatch will feature a Sapphire Crystal glass and Samsung’s BioActive sensor. Advanced Health Monitoring features include:
- Sleep features such as sleep pattern monitoring and tailored sleep coaching
- HR Alert and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications
- Tracking for over 100 workouts
- Advanced running analysis
- Personalized Heart Rate Zone to match your goals to your physical capabilities
Samsung’s most affordable new smartwatch is available in Black, Pink Gold, or Silver. New watch bands feature orange and blue stitching, a one-click band to quickly swap out straps, and a selection of new watch faces.

There’s the usual seamless connectivity with Galaxy devices, with features such as Find My Phone, Camera Controller, and Samsung Wallet for mobile payments. There seems to be no mention of the AI health features Samsung confirmed for the Watch 7.
The Galaxy Watch FE’s Bluetooth model will be available in the US from June 24th, 2024, with an LTE model arriving later, though there’s no mention of a release date yet.
