In a help article, Google confirmed that Pixel Weather is officially arriving on Pixel Tablet.
According to the support article, the feature will be “available for Pixel 9 and later, including Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel Tablet.”
The new app should arrive on Pixel Tablet sometime in December, likely as part of a Pixel Feature Drop, according to 9to5Google. It will presumably land as an update to the existing Google Weather app.

Pixel Weather’s Customizable Features
The app’s features include a Gemini-Nano powered AI Weather Report throughout the day, a carousel of Hourly Forecast and 10-day Forecast cards, and a Weather Map with a precipitation forecast for the next few hours.
According to Google, the Weather Map will provide a six-hour precipitation forecast for the “US, UK, and most EU countries excluding Italy, Luxembourg, and Lichtenstein.” It can also be disabled completely.
The app also includes a grid of Material You shapes for Wind, Precipitation, UV Index, Sunrise & Sunset, Pressure, Humidity, and Visibilit, which can be rearranged. Though these and the 10-day forecast cards can be rearranged, blocked “cannot be moved higher than the AI Weather Report and Hourly Forecast blocks.”
The app offers a choice of iconic landmarks for backgrounds, depending on your location, such as the Statue of Liberty for New York.
Users can also set forecast notifications for the following day every evening with precipitation alerts.
Google also states that it will not show the AI Weather Report “when there are weather alerts for extreme or dangerous events” and will instead show an official warning at the top.
