Apple Intelligence will be the key feature of the proposed M5-based Apple Vision Pro, with no significant differences from the existing model.?
That is the view of respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has detailed in his blog that the successor device is expected to enter full, mass production late next year.
The Apple headset has been predicted to evolve with a cheaper, more accessible version, but there is also scope for a future product using a more advanced processor than the M2 chip.
Ming-Chi Kuo has mooted it will be the M5 to power the new generation headset.
In his report, he elaborates based on his own findings rather than specific supply chain
intelligence but given his track record, there will be enough information to rely on.
Kuo goes on to assert Apple Intelligence will be the means for Vision Pro to evolve beyond the current model, as opposed to just another update.
Elevate the User Experience
The analyst did not provide significant detail on how he believes AI will transform the device beyond some suggestions, but his line of thinking is clear enough that the technology will deliver an improved user experience.
He proffered that if something similar to OpenAI’s Sora can be integrated, it could substantially improve the user experience. Going on to say that the impact of text-to-video AI models on the headset would likely be more impressive than on other existing consumer electronics.
Kuo did state elements such as eye tracking and gesture control combined with Apple Intelligence will contribute to enhanced spatial computing.
