{"id":52670,"date":"2024-09-11T06:23:39","date_gmt":"2024-09-11T04:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techopedia.com\/es\/?post_type=definition&#038;p=52670"},"modified":"2024-09-11T10:22:08","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T08:22:08","slug":"informatica-2","status":"publish","type":"definition","link":"https:\/\/www.techopedia.com\/es\/definicion\/informatica-2","title":{"rendered":"Inform\u00e1tica"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span id=\"que_significa_informatica\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa inform\u00e1tica?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>La inform\u00e1tica es el <strong>estudio del comportamiento y la estructura de cualquier sistema que genere, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techopedia.com\/es\/definicion\/dispositivo-almacenamiento\">almacene<\/a>, procese y luego presente informaci\u00f3n<\/strong>; es b\u00e1sicamente la ciencia de la informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Este campo tiene en cuenta la interacci\u00f3n entre los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n y el usuario, as\u00ed como la construcci\u00f3n de las interfaces entre ambos, como la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techopedia.com\/es\/definicion\/interfaz-usuario\">interfaz de usuario<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"definicion_de_informatica\">Definici\u00f3n de inform\u00e1tica<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>El t\u00e9rmino inform\u00e1tica fue <strong>acu\u00f1ado por primera vez por un inform\u00e1tico alem\u00e1n llamado Karl Steinbuch en 1957<\/strong> mediante su art\u00edculo publicado titulado \u00abInform\u00e1tica: Procesamiento Autom\u00e1tico de la Informaci\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La inform\u00e1tica se utiliz\u00f3 entonces indistintamente con la ciencia de la computaci\u00f3n, ya que su palabra alemana \u00abInformatik\u00bb suele traducirse al espa\u00f1ol como ciencia de la computaci\u00f3n o inform\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>En 1994, la Universidad de Edimburgo (Escocia) form\u00f3 una agrupaci\u00f3n que ahora es su Escuela de Inform\u00e1tica y dio a la inform\u00e1tica el significado general de <strong>\u00abestudio de la estructura, algoritmos, comportamiento e interacciones de los sistemas inform\u00e1ticos naturales y artificiales\u00bb<\/strong>. Este significado se generaliz\u00f3 en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p>Todav\u00eda no existe un significado universal para la inform\u00e1tica, ya que diferentes organizaciones, educativas o no, tienen su propio significado para ella.
