Modeling tools and a programming language called CCL allow OSLO to be applied to diverse kinds of systems. These include highly technical and conceptual projects such as those that deal with “quantum optics” or the application of light to sophisticated theoretical physics.
OSLO was developed in the 1970s and still provides support for modern projects, such as those featuring integration with electronics and image processing software.
